Advanced Editing
A Substantive editing service, including developmental and structural edits. This service also includes proofreading.
I will meticulously check the structure, content and logical flow of your writing. The over all picture will be considered and I will check that your writing makes sense and is well articulated.
I will be looking for logical holes or flaws and facts will be thoroughly researched and confirmed.
The overall quality, style and tone will be carefully considered and I will make suggestions for changes where necessary.
As with all services, I will carefully and concisely follow your specific instructions and style guide.

Price: £35.00 ($43.00) per 1000 words
Light Editing
This service includes a light edit, which means a potential restructure of a few words or a sentence, but not a whole paragraph. Proofreading is also included in this service.
A great all-rounder, designed to elevate your piece whilst maintaining the overall structure and protecting your style/voice throughout.
This editing process focuses on grammar, word choice and enhancing the overall quality of your writing. I will carefully examine the style and tone and check for overly long or awkward phrasing.
As I meticulously run through your text line by line I will be checking for consistency, meaning and clarity.
I will provide suggestions that will polish your writing and ensure that it is clear, coherent and appropriate for your target audience.
Price: £25.00 ($30.00) per 1000 words
Proofreading
The final editing stage - also known as mechanical editing.
The proofreading process will largely focus on checking grammar, spelling, punctuation and formatting.
I will carefully and thoroughly check your writing for consistency in capitalisation, abbreviation and style. I will expertly check EVERY word and look for typos, missed letters, extra spaces and any other minor detail you can think of.
I will always follow your specific instructions and style guide first and foremost.
This service does NOT include any editing, just proofreading. If your piece requires editing, please choose from one of my other two services. Thank you.
